Available by Memorial Day Weekend, our new, well-appointed log cabins are right across the street & within walking distance of our canyon-rim basecamp facility! Creature comforts, authentic materials and a natural setting offer our guests the finest West Virginia lodging experience.
   
West VIrginia lodging The Woodcrest
You’ll know as soon as you turn off the gravel road and up the wooded drive that leads to the Woodcrest that you are arriving at a special place. The sycamores tower above your head, the beautiful old barn invites exploration, the cattle graze in the distance and the green lawns rise to meet the stately Country Home. Secluded, peaceful, and scenic the Woodcrest provides a unique atmosphere that harkens back to more gracious times. More on The Woodcrest
   
Log Cabins West Virginia Mountain State Campground - Log Cabins
The newest additions to our campground are the three Log Cabins that sleep up to seven. In these you’ll enjoy electricity though still no running water. Relax on the front porch while your burgers cook on the gas grill that is provided. Linens included.
   
Tent Cabins Mountain State Campground - Cabin Tents
We offer four cabin tents which consist of canvas tents on wooden platforms equipped with six cots. Located directly across from the shower house, these sites are popular with families with smaller children, church or youth groups.
   
Rustic Cabin Mountain State Campground - Primitive Cabins
Primitive Cabins are just that—basic small cabins that sleep up to 8. You’ll still be roughing it though without electricity or running water! Close to the shower house. Foam sleeping pads are provided but you’ll need your own sleeping gear.
   
West Virgina Camping Mountain State Campground - Breezy Hill

For those of you who prefer more luxury Breezy Hill Cottage sleeps up to 10 in the four bedrooms and the living room futon couch. One bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, TV/Cable, charcoal grill, picnic area, and linens provided.
